1. Products and Company

  •   Where are the products made?
Most of our products are crafted in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic is the only place in the world where Larimar is found. Also, the Dominican Amber is very exotic for being the most transparent Amber in the world. 
  • When was the company founded?
Fossils and Stones is part of a family-owned business that for more than five generations have been handcrafting Amber and Larimar. The owner was a Miami Business Student and decided to launch Fossils and Stones in 2017 to expand and promote the beautiful work of local Dominican artisans.
  • Why are your items so inexpensive?
We enjoy making jewelry with these beautiful stones made by nature and offer great value for our product because we try to eliminate unnecessary expenses, like for example, expensive models, unnecessary infrastructure, and needless advertising. This way, the customer can enjoy benefits like free/ low shipping and reasonable value prices.

2. Shipping

  • Do you ship Worldwide?

Yes, we offer worldwide shipping.

  • How much does shipping cost?

Standard shipping is free for orders within the United States. For all other orders and orders outside the United States, shipping cost will depend on the product dimensions, weight, destination and country of origin. 

  •  When will my order ship?

We know that you want to receive your item as soon as possible, so in items ship out usually within 1 to 2 business day after the order is placed.

  • When will l receive my item(s)?

Delivery takes 5 to 7 business days depending on your location. You will be able to track your package using your shipping confirmation number that we send you to your email after your order is shipped. Please allow at least 2 business day to receive your shipping information after placing your order.

  • Where is the order shipped from?

Your order will be shipped from Port Charlotte, Fl

  • What if my order never arrived?
Check for your order confirmation email for the tracking number. If it doesn't work, contact us, tell us what you ordered and your order number, and we will help out.

3. Returns

  • What is your return policy?
Our goal is to meet or exceed your expectations; however, in the case that you are not completely satisfied with your item (s), you have 30 days to return your item. We will happily reimburse you the total amount of your item(s) minus shipping cost. Please check our return policy for more information.
  • When will l receive my return?
After successfully receiving your item, we will credit your account. You will receive an email confirmation when your return has been processed. Please note that returns can take up to 10 working days depending on the processing time between payments providers. 

4.Orders and Payments

  • Can l cancel or change my order?

Because we process our orders so quickly, unfortunately, we can not make changes after an order has been placed. However, if you notice a mistake right away, don't hesitate to contact us to see if any modification can be made.

  •  What types of payments do you accept?

We currently accept Mastercard, Visa, and American Express, Discovery, Apple Pay, Diners Club, Google Pay, JCB, PayPal, Venmo and Shopify Pay. All transactions are in US Dollars.

  • Is my payment information secure?

All payments made on fossilsandstonejewelry.com are highly secured. We use the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 256-bits. This is the same level of encryption used by large banks to keep your information secure! We do not store any of your payment information.
